Competing in the Chili Bowl
ProStart schools will partner with a local restaurant of their choosing and collaborate to create the BEST chili.
Chili for this competition is defined as any kind of meat or combination of meats cooked with chili peppers, various spices and other ingredients such as beans and pasta. Teams must cook a minimum of 5 gallons of competition chili. All ingredients must be pre-cooked prior to the event – chili is to be brought “ready-to-eat.” Click here for additional competition information.
Prizes (including cash!) are awarded to the top 3 restaurants and schools by a professional team of judges. The winning restaurant and ProStart school in the Peoples’ Choice category will also each receive a cash prize.
Registration is $50 per team – Deadline for entry is Friday, October 4th, 2013.
