Your Responsibilities:

• Compensate interns at a competitive wage
• Provide the intern with ongoing feedback and industry insight
• Work with the intern to complete the Workplace Competency Checklist
• Observe all state and local labor regulations

Mentors are directly involved in building the future of the hospitality industry. The ProStart® program gives hospitality industry workers a chance to eliminate the most significant challenge the industry faces today. Although the industry is the largest employer besides government, with more than eight percent of those employed in the United States, there is an alarming shortage of qualified workers.
