Today's students are the next generation of the hospitality industry. The ProStart® program gives students a head start toward exciting and rewarding careers in this industry, such an executive chef, general manager and restaurant owner.

How You Can Benefit:

  • Participate in the Student Invitational at state and national levels

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take courses ranging from food preparation, to business accounting, to workplace safety, to marketing
  • Work in a paid, mentored internship
  • Build a relationship with your mentor
  • Complete a competency checklist
  • Pass the national exams
  • Maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 overall
