Initial Certification
ServSafe® Serving Safe Food Initial Review and Exam
Fulfill the state requirement to be a Certified Food Manager in Wisconsin. You’ll review food preparation principles to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses.

ServSafe® Certification is available in English or Spanish. Exam offered in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, French Canadian, Japanese and large print. Course book available in English, Spanish, Chinese and Korean.

Recertification
Wisconsin Food Manager's Recertification
For individuals whose Wisconsin Food Manager's Certification (little brown card) is about to expire or has not been expired for longer than 6 months, this half-day class fulfills the state statutory recertification requirement for Wisconsin foodservice managers (except in the City of Milwaukee).
What’s included:
- Half day refresher session (8:30am - 12:30pm)
- Most current ServSafe® Essentials course book (over $50 value)
- Brief quiz demonstrating knowledge
- Letter certifying attendance at the required training (sent upon completion)
ServSafe® Recertification is the only one in the state to use the same book as the initial certification, a $50 value. Register today!
If you work in the City of Milwaukee, you must recertify by testing or examination every five years. The recertification course is not valid in the City of Milwaukee. Please use the Initial Certification above. Email Neacia Pacheco with questions or call 800.589.3211.

Complete the ServSafe® Initial Certification or Recertification online, from the comfort of your own computer. Visit the ServSafe® website for complete information on online food safety training.
