College Culinary Arts

Culinary students from technical colleges and universities compete in two distinctive competitions.

Hot Food
Contemporary Competition

Tests skills in the taste and presentation of a four-course meal. Teams of four will develop and prepare 2 four-course meals that incorporate veal and beef into the menu.

Cold Plate Competition
Beautifully designed meals are judged solely on presentation. Individual competitors create superbly plated meals and beautifully designed veal or beef entrees. The aspic-glazed plates are judged on appearance, presentation and creativity.
