Free Media Pass

The media are not required to pre-register for the Expo. 
Media representatives can attend the show while it is in progress March 9-11 during show floor hours.  Check in at the 3rd Floor Registration Area of the Midwest Airlines Center at the top of the escalators for a free media pass.  Media representatives will be required to fill out a brief registration form to receive their free pass.  An Expo staff person will provide background information and a brief tour of the show for media representatives.

Advertising or sales reps must register through regular registration channels and pay the regular registration fee. Solicitation will absolutely not be tolerated.

Proof of Credentials:
All members of the working press must register and present valid credentials.  To be eligible for a free media pass, you must be an editor, print or broadcast reporter or publisher of a media outlet that is substantive in its reach. One publisher per publication, please.

The Expo may ask for a business card, letter of assignment from your managing editor, or your name or byline as it appears in your publication.

Who doesn’t qualify for press registration?

• All non-editorial employees and/or representatives
• Marketing personnel for foodservice suppliers (PR, creative services, etc.)
• Publishing / Sales personnel (publishers, advertising, etc.)
• Writers & Publishers of personal or corporate newsletters
• Family members of legitimate media

Non-eligible representatives (defined above) are required to register as Attendees or Exhibitors.  If registering as an Exhibitor, a business card and proof of client relationship with an exhibiting manufacturer will be required.  Non-exhibiting supplier representatives are not allowed to attend the Expo.
