Milwaukee Restaurateur Valerie Daniels-Carter Wins National Award for Commitment to Community Service
The National Restaurant Association recently announced Valerie Daniels Carter, President and CEO of Milwaukee-based V&J Holding Companies Inc., as the Restaurant Neighbor Cornerstone Humanitarian Award.  The Restaurant Neighbor Award is a national award recognizing restaurants for outstanding community service. Daniels was honored at a ceremony in Washington, D.C and received a $5,000 donation to her cause.
