NRLB poster effective date delayed

The effective date of April 30th for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) poster - which outlines employees’ right to organize unions - has been pushed back indefinitely.

A federal appeals court has indefinitely delayed this mandate, which is the most recent in the string of delays and court cases involving the poster. The National Restaurant Association joined other business groups in challenging the NLRB’s unprecedented posting requirement.

WRA restaurant members received a green paper copy of this 11” x 17” poster in the 2012 HERO update packet which was mailed in early April. You do not need to display this poster. WRA will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed if a new effective date is announced.
