Local Hospitality Professional Honored As Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year

Aaron Wolf, General Manager (GM) of Rock Garden Banquet Room / Comfort Suites Hotel located in Green Bay, is honored as the Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year (OROY) by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association (WRA) Green Bay Chapter, made up of Shawano, Brown and Outagamie counties. The OROY award is given by fellow members of the Green Bay Chapter based on success in business, community service and dedication to the restaurant industry.

The OROY award will be presented to Wolf on February 17, at the WRA Green Bay Chapter meeting held at Rock Garden in Green Bay. A Legislative Citation will also be presented to Wolf.

On Tuesday, March 10, Wolf will also be honored with a commendation medal at the 2015 WRA Awards Dinner gala, taking place at Hilton Milwaukee City Center.

Wolf has grown up in the hospitality industry, working with his parents in the hotel/banquet/restaurant complex and convention center. He has held positions in the front and back of house, from working in the Rock Garden kitchen to cleaning rooms at the Comfort Suites to his current position as GM. His leadership and dedication to the business is commendable.

Wolf is active in his community and is involved in local charities and fundraising events. He started the Giving Tree in Howard/Suamico, an event that has raised over $100,000.
