CANCELLED - March 22-23, 2021

CAncellation of mfe 2021

Since 1933 the Wisconsin Restaurant Association has been hosting the Midwest Foodservice Expo, an important resource of information, products, services and connections for thousands of people in the foodservice industry.  Holding this event in the first quarter of the year has always been an exciting start to the upcoming tourism season in our great state.  Thankfully, we got our 2020 Expo in right before the COVID-19 pandemic really hit and closed everything down this past March.

While we had exciting plans for 2021 and very much wanted to bring everyone together to once again do business face to face, the growing uncertainty due to COVID has caused us to go from optimism to realism.  With Milwaukee still not allowing large gatherings, coupled with COVID spiking in the state, we have been pushed to make a difficult decision.  The safety of everyone is a priority.  And getting our industry through this crisis is our Association’s main focus right now.  It is with deep disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the Midwest Foodservice Expo.  There is no re-schedule date planned.  WRA will be creating other opportunities in the near future that will help suppliers and restaurateurs do business together again.

While the Midwest Foodservice Expo will not take place, the Wisconsin Restaurant Association is still here for our great industry.  Please continue to seek us out as a vital partner.  We look forward to coming together again, stronger than ever, in the future.  Stay safe!
