Our off-site events are designed around industry trends and Midwestern hospitality.

From dining to entertainment (or both!) you'll enjoy connecting with friends and meeting new contacts as you delight in food, beverage and a few laughs in unique locations.

After-hours events include city tours, surprise dinner destinations, cocktail parties, formal dinners and more. Take a look at what's planned and get your tickets - reservations and advance registration are required for these experiences.

Latte Art Throwdown

Sunday, March 10 - 6:30-9:00 pm

Kickapoo Coffee – 232 E Erie St, Milwaukee’s Third Ward

Celebrate the coffee community before the show officially opens at the Latte Art Throwdown hosted by Kickapoo Coffee. Come watch talented baristas create art from warm coffee and frothy milk -or- enter to compete yourself!

First place: $500 cash prize. Proceeds from the competition will be donated to the On The Ground Global charity - $10 cash buy-in.

The Latte Art Throwdown competition begins at 7:00 pm. Register to compete at



Industry Night

Monday, March 11 - 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Enjoy happy hour drinks and appetizers.

Join the industry - MFE attendees and exhibitors - for a Monday night happy hour at the Miller Time Pub & Grill in the Hilton Downtown Milwaukee.

Drink specials and light appetizers available. No charge to attend; no registration required.


Streetcar Food Tour

Join us on a Streetcar Food Tour in downtown Milwaukee! During this narrated tour, you’ll experience what will add up to be a complete meal of some of the great foods from Milwaukee’s downtown dining scene. Our adventure will include visits to 3 locations, one of which will be a stop at the Milwaukee Public Market in the heart of the Historic Third Ward, taking in a few must-see landmarks along the way. Get ready for a unique and engaging evening on “The Hop!”

Guided tour begins at 5:15 pm at the Wisconsin Center, corner of 4th and Wells. Look for Milwaukee Food Tours bus that will take you to the fist Hop station. Tour will conclude with a 10 min walk from the last Hop station stop to the convention center. The bus will be used going back if there is inclement weather.

$60 per person.

Advanced registration is required; limited space available. To sign up, add the event in badge registration.

Fiserv Forum: Behind the Scenes

A behind the scenes tour exploring the BOH operations of an impressive entertainment arena and home to the Milwaukee Bucks. The in-depth guided tours cover 9 kitchens, 19 concessions stands and premium suite operations that feed 17,500 people.

Tour registrants should plan to meet at the 500 W Highland entrance. Parking is available in the Highland Garage, corner of N 6th  and Highland Ave.

The 75 minute tours are complimentary, but limited space is available - advanced registration is required and the events are at capacity. Questions? Contact Amy Nitschke.
