Education Foundation

WRA EF logo
As the charitable arm of WRA, the Education Foundation promotes and supports the foodservice industry through educational opportunities, scholarships and community involvement. 

Whether it's helping high school students discover their passion for hospitality through the ProStart program, awarding scholarships to students pursuing a culinary/hospitality degree or providing ServSafe certification trainings for current employees, the Foundation offers essential programs to meet the needs of our evolving and exciting industry.

  • $1,000,000+ in scholarships awarded since 1983
  • $40,000+ in scholarships awarded annually
  • 100+ Wisconsin high schools utilizing the ProStart curriculum
  • 46,000 people trained and certified in food safety and sanitation procedures
  • 6,300 students inspired by the ProStart program annually
  • 2 Wisconsin ProStart educators have received national awards for excellence in education
  • 3 Wisconsin teams are National ProStart Invitational Champions
