Campaign SupportPOLITICAL ACTION
WRA’s Political Action Committee (WRA-PAC) helps elect state and local candidates that aim to benefit our industry. WRA-PAC combines contributions from individuals to distribute funds to candidates for greater effect. The WRA Conduit program helps you distribute your personal funds to any candidate for local or state office, at any time. As an individual, you have full control over your political contributions -or- contributions may also be pooled for larger impact. Contributions must be personal contributions, not from a business. Business donations are allocated to the Wisconsin Restaurant Advocacy Fund. |
Gift CertificatesSUPPORT LOCAL RESTAURANTS
The next time you're looking for an auction donation for a community event or offering special gifts to employees or clients, consider purchasing a gift certificate from WRA. The WRA Gift Certificate program supports local restaurants across the state of Wisconsin. 100% of the certificate value goes back to one of 1000's of locally-owned establishments that the recipient selects. The certificate works just like cash, while supporting member businesses in our state. |
Tell Your StoryADVOCACY & POLITICAL ACTION
The most powerful way to influence lawmakers is for restaurant operators to tell their story first-hand and explain how proposed legislation will affect their business. In-person testimony as well as email, letters and calls from restaurant operators are critical to WRA’s lobbying efforts on the local and state level. WRA is always looking for operators and managers to contact lawmakers on issues affecting the restaurant industry and small business—whether by testifying at public hearings, attending Advocacy Day events or sending personal communications. You make a difference just by telling your story. |
