Work Permits Needed For 14- and 15-Year-Old Employees

Any teen under age 16 must have a work permit BEFORE that teen begins work.

Any exceptions to this during COVID-19 have expired. If you hired any teens during the work permit holiday, submit your application and $10 permit fee NOW. You should already have the documentation required so make sure to follow up and submit it to your local work permit office.
